Share transfer/name change & getting duplicate certificates Hello all, new here so please bear with me. I recently started looking at a bag of old paperwork with share documents and copies. In that, I found out there’s considerable amount of value in few companies. These are from paper certificates bought at face value by my father in the 90s under my mom’s name and my name. My father passed away 25 years ago. The problem is that they were in my mom’s pet name and don’t have actual certificates, but we keep on getting mails from... 5 0 replies

Is Now a Good Time to Buy Swiggy Stock? Swiggy’s stock recently hit an all-time low of ₹326.10 but has started to recover slightly. Analysts at Citi see a potential 30% upside, and despite ongoing losses, the company continues to expand its quick commerce and food delivery business. Personally, I think this dip could be an opportunity, considering Swiggy’s strong market presence and revenue growth. However, competition from Zomato and regulatory challenges are real concerns. I’m leaning toward it being a long-term play rather than a quick gain. What do you guys think? Anyone else watching Swiggy right... 5 1 replies
Is Now a Good Time to Buy Swiggy Stock? Swiggy’s stock has been on a downward trend, hitting an all-time low of ₹326.10 recently, but it has started to recover slightly. Analysts at Citi have initiated coverage with a positive outlook, suggesting a potential 30% upside. While the company remains unprofitable, its revenue growth, diversification into quick commerce, and strong market position make it an interesting investment opportunity. With the stock trading significantly below its listing price of ₹412, could this be a good time to buy? Or do you think the competition and regulatory risks make it... 4 2 replies

Leaving Fno for once and all ! I had stated option buying last year without any idea of greeks, alpha ,beta, theta or any setups. One day I'd be up by 35000 and the other day it would be -50000. I was having a monthly return of 8% on my capital and blew all of it on recent 5 trades.Lost 1 lakh in total .Leaving Fno once and for all. Might invest for long term in quality stocks... 5 2 replies

Are Insider Traders the Only People Actually Making Money in the Stock market ? Retail traders spend years learning 'technical analysis' and 'fundamental analysis, but the real winners are those with inside information. Do you really think big players wait for 'chart patterns' to make money? Retail traders follow charts, while big investors follow WhatsApp messages from corporate insiders!" If the stock market was fair, why do retail traders always lose?" Insider trading is illegal, yet it happens every day-how do you think stocks move before news comes out? 5 3 replies

Building Portfolio from scratch in this market Hi everyone, The market has been quite volatile lately, and I’m curious to know how experienced investors would approach building a portfolio from scratch in the current scenario. If you had ₹10 lakh to invest right now, which stocks would you pick and why? Are there any undervalued gems, blue-chip stocks, or sectors you think are poised for growth in the near to medium term? I’m particularly interested in understanding: 1. Your rationale for selecting specific stocks or sectors. 2. Whether you’d focus on large-cap, mid-cap, or small-cap stocks.... 3 2 replies

We All Know What’s Going On: The Indian Market Is on Thin Ice It’s the same story every day—FIIs are offloading stocks like clockwork, and DIIs keep soaking it all up. We all know the DIIs are just mutual funds using our money, not theirs. This isn’t some brilliant buying strategy; it’s them propping up the market to keep things from collapsing. And don’t get me started on valuations. We’re seeing companies with PEs north of 300 and even 1,000 in some cases. It’s absurd, and yet DIIs are still buying, giving FIIs their clean exit. We all know this game. Let’s... 2 0 replies
