Hey Mentors and Experienced Founders, I Need help! Hi everyone, I'm a teen entrepreneur, building a rental-focused consumer services startup in India, currently in the MVP stage. I've completed a few raw orders under some suppliers & now preparing to raise a pre-seed/seed round while also applying for some global fellowships. I'm already part of a small fellowship that has committed a small grant to help develop my MVP further. At the moment, most of my tie-ups, connections & records are in raw notes and datasheets only :") Coming to the point, I need help in making... 1 0 replies
Groundwater startup for real estate!!! I'm considering starting a company to help real estate developers in metro cities like Bangalore with groundwater assessments for their projects. The idea is to guide them in understanding water availability and planning sustainable usage. Do you think this would be useful, and would developers be willing to invest in such services? Be brutal please. 5 0 replies
Want to switch to AI chat bots for our in-tool support. Suggestions? I'm co-founder of a growing SaaS startup. We use a "traditional" in-tool chat and knowlesge base today, both accessed through a help-widget (we use Product Fruits). The thing is, nobody bothers looking there, so we end up getting tons of emails/calls from our customers who need help. And i get it, i hate scrolling through guides myself. So instead of customers emailing us, i would love them to have a AI chat widget thar can tell them how stuff works (and refere to us if the bot gets stuck).... 1 0 replies
Startup idea Hey, I am pretty to this start up culture, but I was thinking of starting one,I was thinking of saas, where we will optimize your cloud resouces, as we know there are many microservices running at all companies, but some microservices rarely get request to process, but still we need to spend lot of resources on it. So O was thinking a building a community from where each service will buy a resource for how much time they needed, else very lof minimum resource will be provided. Is it... 2 0 replies
Humility vs growth Let's say you're someone who values humility. I think it’s pretty fair to say these days that self-promotion plays a pretty important role in growing a startup. How do you go about this trade-off? I just think it’s an interesting paradox and wondered if anyone had thought about this and what conclusions they’ve come to. 4 0 replies
Beta Recruitment Im at a place where I need to recruit my first beta group. This piece will be niche and I’m debating going to paid beta user route. What are pros and cons, the biggest thing for me is time; and I’m LIMITED on that. If the advice is find them myself, what has been the most successful method? 3 0 replies
How Much Time Did Your MVP Take? What Methods Did You Use? Hello everyone! In the entrepreneurial journey, an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is a significant milestone. I’m curious about how much time you spent building your MVP and what methods you used to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. 1. Timeline: How long did it take for your MVP to go from concept to launch? 2. Methodology: What development methods did you adopt? Such as Agile, Lean Startup, or others? 3. Tools and Technologies: Which tools or technologies were particularly helpful in the process? Share your experiences and stories, and let’s learn... 5 0 replies
Dropped everything this year, moved back in with my parents, built my first real product in 3 days, and sold 50 copies in 50 hours After six years in my field, I hit a breaking point. I’d been working hard, but nothing I was building felt personal or meaningful to me. Late last year, I split ways with my last gig, and everything I’d been avoiding hit me at once. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but I knew I couldn’t keep doing the same thing. In January, my partner and I packed up and moved out of our place to live with my parents. It wasn’t where I thought I’d be at... 2 0 replies
From 'I Can’t Code' to Web App – How to Get Initial Users? With no coding experience (other than some python for my data job), I’ve recently built a web app aimed at solving challenges for data teams, but I’m stuck on how to attract my first users. I’ve launched a pilot version, and while I’m excited about the potential, I’m struggling to get people to actually sign up and try it out. I’ve tried sharing the link on social media and a few forums, but I’m not seeing much traction. I’d love to hear your advice on how to effectively get... 3 0 replies

The Blueprint for Building and Scaling a Successful SaaS Business Let’s be real—making a successful SaaS business is NOT possible unless you have **DISTRIBUTION**. You either have: 1. Existing distribution (SEO, social, email list), or 2. You know how to *rapidly* kickstart distribution (running ads). Here’s the roadmap I’d follow if I were starting from scratch: **1. Increase your runway.** First thing—figure out how long you can survive without panicking about money. Reduce costs, review monthly expenses, and **calculate your runway based on how much is in the bank**. If you have a job, you might feel like you... 3 0 replies

Be freaking BRUTALLY HONEST.. Should I build this? Hey yall, I've noticed a common challenge among knowledge workers: the constant disruption of workflow when delegating or documenting tasks. Every time we need to assign a task, we're forced to: \- Switch between multiple apps. \- Break our concentration. \- Spend valuable time formatting and structuring task details. I'm thinking about building something, a tool that turns voice instructions and screen recordings into properly formatted tasks, and automatically sends them to your task management system. Would people use this? Why or why not? 4 0 replies
Can’t find a tech co-founder. Should I pay to build my MVP and then find my tech co-founder or hold out? Been looking high and low to find a tech co-founder to help me built my MVP. Now before anyone says that I should learn to build it myself and use AI tools to help, my product is a marketplace and AI tools aren’t exactly the best for that. Therefore, should I pay to get it built and then look for a co-founder to help me iterate or just keep looking? Appreciate the advice. 3 0 replies
why is nobody considering going to do business abroad ? I'm from europe and I feel like the west just produce to many graduates and there is too much competition, too much rules and too much taxes I am in latam and even basic apps are shitty here, it's not much harder to do better. Actually I notice in europe a lot of startups just copy US at Y+1 or +5 But in Latam it's even easier, and you can easily avoid paying taxes Most people who went initially to the US took a risk leaving prosperous europe and... 1 0 replies
Tips from an investor I run a multimillion-dollar tech firm and have personally invested in numerous exceptional and innovative startups. The first rule when meeting an investor is to build a relationship. In fact, before I even meet with a startup founder or team, I already know nearly everything about them—from their educational background and employment history to whether they’ve had any previous businesses. So the first thing I observe is whether they are focused solely on securing funding or if they are genuinely passionate about their business. Therefore, your first impression should... 4 0 replies

Firsr buy right of my own idea Hi All, I met up with an early investor and after the discussion I understood the following: 1 they want 20% (200k) undiluted until IPO 2 they will develop the product and hold the IP 3 my start up has the first right to buy the IP 4 parts of my equity will be diluted for future investors It was explained that the first buy right enables higher valuation of my company for subsequent fundraising round so my company can buy the IP outright when new investors come onboard.... 2 0 replies
