Hip-hop scene in Odisha I've been following dhh since 2017 and there has been rapid growth in the hip-hop scene nationwide. Something that started in prominent cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru has now reached the Northeastern regions and other smaller towns in India. Ratnagiri: romance with metals thousand years back Ratnagiri differs from other Buddhist sites in one particular aspect. There are hundreds of unearthed miniature votive stupas at Ratnagiri, scattered over a wide area. These votive stupas are decorated with lotus petals and bead tassels. Some of them are inscribed with the Buddhist creed. Can it be interpreted that the followers of Buddhism were donating these little votive stupas then( just like today's Saivites donate brass bells and snakes in Shiva temples) ??? Fiscal deficit of Odisha The new state government distributed a good amount of money under Subhadra Yojana . The fiscal deficit has gone up to INR 50k Cr, a rise of around 15k Cr in 9 months. Odia kids - speaking in Hindi doesn't make you sound any smarter Im visiting Odisha after a while. I see a bad new trend - khaanti Odia folks responding in Hindi even even I start a conversation in Odia. This is more pronounced in the service sector (restaurant, malls, auto). I wonder why they do that. Does speaking in Hindi make you sound smarter? Or more urbane? Whatever the reason this trend needs to stop. 2 5 replies
