Moving forward to 2025

2024 has been a rollercoaster for me. The biggest learning I took from this year is the fact that people, no matter how promising they are, they can only be a temporary part of your life. Many are fake and don't want you. I have snapped more connections than I built. Moving forward, I've learnt to be resilient even when alone. What are your learnings through the year?

Beware of these scammers

There’s been a scam going on lately, and my dad almost fell victim to it. Scammers somehow got his address and phone number and showed up to the house with some fake package they claim was ordered on COD. While my parents told them they haven’t ordered anything, they asked for an OTP to cancel it. Since I’d already informed my parents about such scams, they refused to humour these scammers and had the building security escort them out. We're a couple staying in Panvel, don't have any friends here in Navi Mumbai hence thinking to roam around streets of Navi Mumbai tomorrow evening till late night. We can go from one street food stall to another, try so many items and finally DRINK after reaching home and do a house party and some dance :D

Persistent Fake Police Scammers in Sector 11, Belapur, yet again.

Spotted those fake conmen in police uniforms again in Sector 11, Belapur. They’re still handing out laminated pamphlets with fake donation entries like ₹2000 and ₹1500, claiming to collect money for an orphanage. I signaled a couple of people nearby not to fall into their trap. It’s disheartening to see them still at it, trying to scam unsuspecting people. If you come across them, don’t engage. Just walk away and spread the word to others around you.

Hi peeps, Recently I got a job and the location is Ruby Tower, Dadar. I stay in Panvel,Navi Mumbai. It's been a month with this job now. Currently I'm travelling via train (Panvel- Kurla- Dadar). I used to travel Thane for my previous job and the crowd was bearable but this Harbour line is nightmare. I would like to explore other options too.
