My New Year’s Gift to Myself: Triumph Scrambler 400X Hello fellow riders, I wanted to share my thoughts about my new ride, the Triumph Scrambler 400X, which I gifted myself on 2nd January to kickstart the year on a high note. It’s been an incredible experience so far, and here are my impressions after 700 km, including a 350 km trip. What I Love Cruising and Comfort: The bike cruises effortlessly at 80-90 km/h. You don’t even notice when it hits those speeds. It feels smooth, stable, and easygoing. I haven’t gone beyond 110 km/h yet due to... 2 3 replies
I crashed a Duke 250 and someone stole my watch I was careless with the bike. It is my cousin's bike. (I was not focusing on the road) Lost control crashed and I went over the median onto the other side. As soon I could I jumped off the road. Someone guided me over to the side. My phone was thrown off and that guy found it. I didn't think about my watch then. Another guy who came after started taking videos and photos instead of helping. I saw him walking around looking for something. I didn't realise that... 1 6 replies
PSA : Engine braking is not a substitute to actual brakes, it's an add-on. I have been hearing more and more in not just this subreddit but many indian forums and YT/Insta comments sections about "Bro, just use engine braking". And I can't help but think how this is just one of the tidepod trends that is doing a lot of harm. It's actually very physics oriented. Let's do it in a simple question and answer format. Q : What happens when you brake hard. Notice how when you brake there is a lot of weight transfer to the front. This weight transfer... 5 5 replies
Never Buy an Ola Scooter – A Nightmare Experience Last night was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I was riding my Ola S1 X+ with my friend on our way to a friend's wedding when the scooter suddenly stopped working in the middle of a dark, desolate road. It was pitch black, and we were completely stranded with no help in sight. I had to remove the fuse, put it back again, and restart the scooter multiple times just to get it to work temporarily. Despite all the effort, we couldn’t rely on it, so... 4 2 replies

To all those with superbike dreams This post is inspired by a question posted on this sub today. I think most folks on this sub would be in their 20s or younger. So here is my story of how I achieved my superbike dream. So as a kid, I loved supercars. Then during engineering, my dad gifted me a pulsar 200 dtsi in 2008. Happened to do few overnight rides and got hooked. That's when I decided I wanted to buy a bike for touring mainly. Started my job in 2011. The ninja 250 launched... 3 5 replies
What's your dream bike and what are you doing to get it? I am 29 right now and planning to get my dream bike of over 10 years, the ZX10R by 2028, before my 33rd birthday. My idea is to avoid loans at all costs and try my best to get it in cash. I'm not the most financially literate guy, so I just invest about half of my salary trying to diversify to the best of my knowledge. All while watching videos of that bike and waiting for the dream to come true. I'm sure most of the people here... 5 19 replies
