That rajasthani guy(rajput) eats pork and water buffalo meat sometimes(he says bali dena but it's very rarely done, not common at all). He has told me this and also said in his village people themselves get this meat slaughtered without getting it done by a butcher. My kannada friend(kodava) is from madikeri in coorg.
