Enda namma ooru mattum ipdi iruku Came back to madurai for the holidays. I've visited a lot of tier 2 cities in tamilnadu and some in Karnataka (mysore and mangalore). Why is our city's infrastructure so bad? Half the small water canals are filled with sewage and trash (have seen this from childhood), the roads just seem to be getting worse every year and to top it all off the people here have become really rude. A small temple just at the back of our house plays devotional songs at high volumes from 5:30 - 8:00 am everyday during this month.
