Loading ICC calibration breaks HDR Hey, Running Ventura 13.7.2 (22H313) I have no issues calibrating monitors using UltraStudio 3g. And monitor that allows you to load LUTs into them through hardware. However. I am having problems loading custom ICC profiles using Mac OS. It breaks all HDR fucntions. My calibration software of choice is DisplayCal, and I have iDisplay Pro Plus probe. Whenever the ICC profile is loaded 3 things happen. The colours looks weirdly overexposed and washed out. Issue printing to pdf file from MS Word. For whatever reason, the federal court system will not accept pdf files created by MS Word (16.92) on my Mac (14.3). It used to, but will not as of about a month ago. My state court system has no problems with it. Does anyone know a good solution? Is there a better pdf creator out there, for example? Is it possible for an entire folder to just disappear in iCloud? If you'd asked me that last week, I would have said no. Now, I'm not so sure: Short version: a folder I use almost daily disappeared from my iCloud drive last week on all devices. I did not/would not delete it. There was nothing in my trash. There was nothing in my "Recently Deleted" folder in iCloud. Longer version: last week, I used spotlight search on my MB Pro to find a file I'd been working on. MobaXterm SSH alternative Hi! I just bought myself a brand new Macbook Pro, coming from my Windows desktop. My work revolves completely around ssh'ing into multiple servers simultaneously. I've used MobaXterm for years and love that I can do things like MultiExec, file browser access, system resources monitor, etc. I tried installing MobaXterm via Wine but that didn't work unfortunately. What's your favorite 3rd party menu bar tool(s)? My 2nd favorite menu bar resident, Text Sniper, is on sale in App Store today for $3. Although macOS does have a similar feature, this blows it away because you can do shift-command-2 anywhere and grab text. Pairs nicely with any clipboard tool that stores multiple items. Tip: Turning off Siri Suggestions in Calendar app on Sequoia 15.1.1 After who knows how many years, I finally broke down and figured out how to turn off Siri suggestions in the Calendar app on MacOS, which I've never used. I watched this tv show, Evil, where there seems to be a pretty heavy apple product placement; all characters use iPhones (with interface clearly shown) and often MacBooks, but more than once they show a 100% apple UI (see apple in picture 2) running on a windows PC (see windows key in picture 3). Old MacBook Pro OS reinstall help? I started by erasing my disk. Then at the startup I got the question mark, so I restarted in recovery mode and opened the disk utility. How to get back the message “Remote content was loaded through your current VPN configuration” on Apple Mail if you dismissed it once by pressing X? I am troubleshooting an issue where the PIA VPN app breaks the Mail Privacy Protection function on macOS Sequoia. Since I installed their app, my mails show “Your network preferences prevent content from loading privately” and you have to manually press the “Load Content Directly” button if you want to see your mail normally. It doesn't matter if the VPN app is closed and with the VPN tunnel inactive, just by having the PIA VPN app installed the problem arises. “WiFi is Off’ HELP PLS I restarted my 2021 MacBook Air and I’m unable to access the Wi-Fi..
