Unable to update to Sequoia
I can not seem to figure out why, but my computer will not allow me to upgrade to Sequoia. I’m currently running Sonoma 14.7.1 I’ve downloaded Sequoia and then it attempts to open the “Install MacOS Sequoia” app, but the app pops up in the dock and immediately closes. I’ve tried deleting the app, and redownloading the update. I’ve tried downloading the update from Apples website directly. I’ve tried booting in safe mode to run the application. But it does the same thing every time. I have run Disk Utility and tried a repair before redownloading. Other possibly important context: This is a work computer, but I am the only admin account on the computer and I have had no issue with any other application before. What could I be missing? My tech department at work unfortunately knows nothing about MacBooks and would likely do more harm and erase my data in their attempts to remedy the situation. We’re a mainly Windows company, except for my department. Thanks! Edited to add: it is a 2020 MacBook Air2
