Recommendations for app that can automate find & replace steps?
I'm working on a project where I need to take a lot of blocks of HTML text, and then convert them to Wordpress markup blocks so I can paste it into pages and have them all ready to go. (The formatting needs to be pretty precise, and the blocks before and after don't automatically convert over well, so it's a bit of a pain.) I've created a few different flows of manual find & replace steps, but what I'd really love is to find an app that can do everything I need for each block at the touch of a button. So, basically, it would do find & replace step 1, then find & replace step 2, and so on. The main requirement would be that I need to add an \*ANY\* type variable to a couple of the searches, but beyond that I'm not doing anything craze complex, just more time consuming. Anyone have any suggestions for apps that can do multiple find & replace actions in user-definable order as one action on my part? I've been using Panic's Nova for doing it, which doesn't seem to have any extensions that would help me with this, but any app is fine. I also looked into Automator to see if I can set something up, but I'm not an Automator expert and I couldn't seem to figure out anything that would do what I need. Any recommendations would be appreciated!5
