Numbers App. Is there a way to move the Inspector column to the top?

Just started using Apple Numbers. I find that the Inspector column (where you edit cells, font etc...) takes up valuable real estate space on the right hand side. Is there a way to move this column to the top? i.e. so that it becomes a bar like in Excel. Then I can free up more screen space for the actual spreadsheet. Many thanks.
