Is there a KVM switch that doesn't use DisplayLink software for Macbook M1/M2/M3?
I currently have DisplayLink Wavlink USB Hub that connects 2 monitors for my setup. I have 2 cables which I have to unplug/plug manually to switch between my personal workstation and work computer. However, I am finding this a problem in the long run since my computer begins to flicker and pop up at random intervals from the excessive unplugging/plugging every time for work. Are there recommendations where I can just click on a button to switch between the 2 where they have a USB Hub that allows for let's say 3 monitors using HDMI? (I am looking to add another monitor and dish out the WavLink DisplayLink and get something that supports KVM style switching using a button.) The only information I have received is using a Pluggable DisplayLink USB Hub + KVM switch to connect 2 Macbook M series laptops. (Pluggable has a KVM switch but it only support USB 3.1 and not USB-C. I tried using a converter before from USB 3.1 to USB-C and this didn't work.) Would appreciate any feedback.3
