Macbook Air Intel I5

Hi guys, I've an Android app, planning to release IOS version but don't want to spend money on new Macbook. Thinking of purchasing intel based refurbished laptop, sole purpose is to test few functionality(IOS related) major development and testing will be done on my primary laptop. All I will do is run Xcode and emulator. Can I go for 2017 intel i5 model? Even a little lag will do for me if it does the work!

When will Android match iOS in this regard?

My dad has an S23 Plus. Apparently it has software support promised for 4 years. Why is there no One UI 7 update yet for it? I think it launched with the new S25 series. There is no clarity for it online too, people are just waiting, when it will be released by Samsung. Compare this to Apple, where if iOS 18 is announced, every single eligible device gets the update at the same date same time, no waiting or guessing, this also shows in the adoption rate, almost...

Jio STB connect to VGA monitor

Hi everyone, I am getting a jio fiber connection with set top box. But I don't have a tv , have a desktop with old vga monitor. I know there is way to use hdmi to vga coverter along with audio output but anyone here actually done it ? Does it really work?
