Difference between Rajkot and Ahmedabad?

I know Ahmedebad is bigger and has more investments going on. But I saw Rajkot is a major manufacturing hub and has a lot going on. What else are the differences? Any differences in weather? Food options I am assuming Ahmedebad has more? Is Rajkots still solid? Hows the variety for international cusine?

Somnath and Dwarka temple visit with mother

I am planning to visit both the temples next month with my mother. But saw that there are separate queues for both and mobile phones are not allowed either. As such I am not feeling comfortable since exits will be different and it might be a hassle. Is there any solution that you can suggest to this?
