have traffic been reduced in Chennai?

Is it just me or have traffic police took great actions to reduce traffic all over Chennai? As part of my job I travel a lot in my bike, it usually takes a lot of time in each signal in a single road but for the past week I have been cruising.

I am searching for an ICICI Bank branch in Chennai that has a lower monthly balance requirement for a savings account.

I've been to a few ICICI Bank branches to open a regular savings account, and I'm finding it quite frustrating that they expect a high monthly balance just because I live in the city. It seems different in rural areas. I'm looking for an ICICI branch in Chennai that will allow me to open a normal savings account with a lower monthly balance, as I’m unable to meet the ₹10,000 monthly balance requirement at the moment.

Am I joke to you?

I'm working at SBC, and it feels like my seniors always assume I'm wrong, no matter what I do. Even my tasks get rejected before they’re even reviewed. But when my colleague submits the exact same task (which I asked him to share), it gets approved without any issues. It’s frustrating and honestly starting to get to me. I don’t know what to do—any advice?

Looking for a peaceful place to work with good wifi in Chennai city. I will be coming Chennai after 10 years. I will have to work for 10 days remote. Looking for coffee shops or so to work where I may have to take some virtual meetings too. Around the Music academy area would be great. Cheers!

Bombay Lassi alternatives

Bombay Lassi behind Devi theatres provide amazing special Lassi. They mix basundhi with it and for every sip, you get the malai/paal aadai. They don’t deliver though. 😒 Chennai peeps - Is there an alternative who serve lassi like that which I can order via food delivery apps?

This is about the auto drivers in Chennai. No offense, but as a college student who uses autos daily, I often feel scared. They literally fight among themselves to take me as a passenger, and most of them are not very old. I'm not judging, but they appear intimidating, almost like rowdies. They also tease or make comments whenever someone gets into the auto. Once, an auto driver was extremely adamant about dropping me off at my home. He even asked for my number, which made me feel scared....

How Are You Charging Your Ola in Chennai?

I’ve been facing issues with charging my Ola lately. As far as I know, there are only two Ola Hypercharging stations in Chennai—one in Teynampet and one in Nesapakkam. The problem is: The Teynampet station has started charging a fee for charging. The Nesapakkam station is currently shut down. With these limited options, how are you guys managing to charge your Ola? Have you found any reliable alternatives?

hello chennai! is it just me, or has there been a crazy increase in mosquitos in the evening? the clock hits six, and bam, mosquitos start circling me like I’M the prey. i mean, this is on a level i’ve never seen before. these mosquitos also feel relatively easier to kill. any idea what is causing this?

I was on my way to office from Tiruvanmiyur station, and noticed the preparations were going on most likely for the Opening of the U-Turn bridge in Tidel Park. They are laying the stage and tent sorta stuff while I was crossing, both the sides of the bridge was with colored flags on poles. I am unaware of the timing. Very likely about the traffic jam. Moving to chennai - product based companies location

Guys, vanakkam. I am moving from Hyderabad to Chennai permanently after 6 years. I want to know which IT park has more product-based companies in Chennai or the surrounding area so that I can start looking for residency and plan other things as well, like child schooling and parks.
