Do honda dealerships secretly don't want you to buy their cars? Do they just wait for fans to buy it off of them Recently went for test drive new Amaze. I'm not sure if they're setting the expectations low or I've been spoiled by Nexa (which isn't exactly premium tbh) They did not have the new Amaze in cvt neither do they plan on getting one and the waiting period could be a couple of months. While I really like Honda's engineering, I'm worried about their future in India, service/ repair costs. Is this common or it's just my city 1 9 replies
Bought a vapour grey Volvo xc60 for small SUV duty & Road trips! Got a great deal on it! (OC) Just bought a new Xc60 in vapour grey, with a maroon brown interior to accompany our v90 cross country on daily / work trips. For reference, our V90 CC is 5 years old with 65k kms on it and honestly, it's hands down the best car from our garage.. It does everything you ask it to, goes everywhere, carries a lot of stuff in it's massive boot etc etc. And it played a massive role in pulling the trigger on a Volvo for a second time. Along with the... 3 15 replies
Somebody keyed this beautiful machine. Came in for some paint correction a few days back, but unfortunately, that won't be enough to fix the damage. I feel terrible for the owner, as the only viable option left is a full body repaint. 1 20 replies
cheapest most comfortable car for 6'2" 100 kg fat man driver. no budget limit, but not interested in sunroofs, or woofer banks, or Boeing cockpit type interiors. dont need hill assist, cruise control, climate control, heated seats. not for off roading, but 80 km a day is not an unusual amount of city adjacent driving. just a basic, spacious well seated model. at least 10-15 kmpl, and at least two or three stars of safety, should handle 100-120 kmph comfortably. the jimny came close but its a car for midgets, and i dont want to buy another wagon r. open... 4 19 replies
Could I have done something different? This was on the NH44 from Hyderabad to Bangalore. I was at around 80-90kmph and the car in front of me brakes hard. I had to make sure there was no one behind me and luckily for me the rapid on the left had moved into the shoulder (kudos to the driver for the quick thinking) The bike in front, I believe had just take a U-turn. The car in front could've have gradually braked but for some reason maybe didn’t see the bike or was distracted while driving…... 5 20 replies
Buying unused unsold EV a good idea? I have decided to buy an EV with a tight budget. Went to the dealer and found a sweet deal (almost 50% discount) on a 2023 June manufactured, pre facelift variant of a car that is a category above what I was expecting to buy in my budget. Now the thing is that this car has been sitting in the dealers inventory for about 1½ years now and it is almost brand new with 3 km on the odometer and 44% SoC. I believe this vehicle was never charged... 5 2 replies
Okay, I think I'm cooked. I was reversing the car (9PM+Raining). I couldn't see the stone slabs placed horizontally, and slightly hit them and went by. But when I accelerated forward, I hit the slabs again and f*cked my Kia Caren's rear quarter panels. What should I do now? Some guy told me to pour boiling water into the gap and push the panel hard into the car. Should I try it? 2 9 replies
