I'm not a fan of Alia but her Transition from Shanaya in Student of the year to Gangubai Kathiawadi is really great !! She has improved a lot as an actress, The voice modulation, walking style and expressions were really good !!

Which Bollywood movie had the most perfect casting?

Some movies feel like every actor was born to play their part. For me, *Dil Chahta Hai* comes to mind—the chemistry between the actors just felt natural. What’s a Bollywood movie you feel nailed its casting, and why?

We should talk more about this film! I loved the songs, Madhuri and the Laila Manju play. It's sad how it didn't work back then.

An Honest Critique of the Nepo Girls- Sara, Jahnvi, Ananya, Suhana, Khushi, Shanaya.

    # Analyzing the Careers of These Privileged Nepo Kids: Pros and Cons - We can call them JASSSK **Janhvi** * **Strengths**: A good dancer. * **Weaknesses**: Limited range of expressions—she alternates between "innocent face" and "sexy face. Line up of films is boring. **Ananya** * **Strengths**: Has had a good year with better acting and movie choices, showing noticeable improvement. * **Weaknesses**: Can’t dance and often talks rubbish in interviews. Comes across as a competitive, mean-girl type. **Sara** * **Strengths**: A good orator in interviews. * **Weaknesses**: Cannot act...

Posted a few movies from 2005-2010 that were like a breath of fresh air in Bollywood. It's only fair that I do the same for the 2010s as well. There were some good small scale movies with character actors, many of these films embraced a more somber tone, marking a departure from the 2010s.

Why Bollywood is Failing to Connect: The Shift in Audience and Industry Challenges

The Hindi film industry faced a rough 2024, with Stree 2 being the only standout hit. If you take that out of the equation, the year would have been even worse. This ongoing struggle isn’t just a 2024 issue; it’s likely to stretch well into 2025 and beyond. At the heart of it all is the shifting audience, and the challenge of catering to the changing tastes and sensibilities. Historically, Bollywood films have been most successful in major urban centers like Mumbai and Delhi (the "metros"). The power of...

People who hates BB3. What is your minimum benchmark example of a one time watch family movie?

So I personally felt Singham Again was absolutely unwatchable. Street 2 was one time watch. And BB3 was funnier and scarier then Stree 2 and I can maybe watch some parts of it again. What is your take on family movies that are borderline passable?

    Bandish Bandits S02 Question

Hi all, just watched S02 of Bandish Bandits. I think it was a good approach overall. Although I think the soundtrack was a bit disappointing considering its first season! My question is: Tamanna mentioned a couple of times that she wanna move on from her past relationship which was TOXIC. Now, I just wanna understand that what was TOXIC in her past relationship with Radhe?

    Singham Again Review

Watched Singham Again on Prime Video. Wow, such a terrible movie, terrible acting by everyone except AD. Deepika’s entry, Tiger’s entry, Ranveer’s entry all been so so cringe. 😵‍💫 Arjun Kapoor looked better than all the leads. Feels like a parody movie. Really don’t understand how Rohit Shetty can make a movie so shit. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Movies like this are the reason why people have started preferring South movies. Zero effort into acting & direction. Such a waste of an amazing starcast. No wonder Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 did better than...

Why don’t they make movies like Lootera?

I got multiple recommendations for Lootera! Today, on a Sunday evening, while listening to “Monta Re”, I got the urge to finally watch the movie. The movie was amazing, with top-notch acting by Sonakshi and Ranveer – probably one of their best performances for me. The screenplay and storytelling were wonderful. Comparing these two's recent movies makes me wonder why they don’t use their true potential.
