Bihari Flag Concept: Ashokan pillar as an aspiration for law & order reaching everyone, Dhammachakka as a spiritual heritage of Buddha, against castism & superstition. 2 lions fiercely protecting & upholding these ideals, representing North & South Bihar (roughly ancient Vrijji & Magadha). 5 1 replies
What happened to BSEFCL website? I had availed the Bihar Student credit card loan and was doing payments regularly using BSEFCL (Bihar State education finance corporation limited) website. I missed last 3 due dates but when I went ahead to pay now, I see the website is not there. Now I am having a thought about being it scam as the demand notice still shows the first installment date as repayment due date. I can't either pay directly as I do not remember how much is due. Any leads or similar experience? 5 1 replies

Starting a Bihar centric Podcast. I have been complaining about the hatred directed towards our state and our culture for as long as I can remember, but recently I realized that I too haven't done anything about it except for whining about it here and there. For a really long time I couldn't think of anything, but a couple of months ago I realized that even though podcast space is booming right now, it is completely devoid of any Bihar centric creator (and if there are, I haven't seen any). Hence, I want to... 1 0 replies
Ranting (not me but some wanna be cool kids) https://www.reddit.com/r/Goa/s/zGTEZ1xmM0 See this clip in posted in r/goa, few low life perverts are filming a lady and her kids, that's awful and what more awful is that the comment section has already assumed them biharis or north indians (not to say) just to protect their inferior identity they target a vulnerable state, maybe that's what a *human behaviour* thing is.There's no written source no steyrotyipical activity that confirms they are biharis, but kids in the comment section are some over smart geniuses. 4 2 replies
I Live In Hell I reside in a village in Bihar. Most of the people living here lack civic sense. Most men and almost all women are uneducated. They all fall into the category of poor (myself included) to extremely poor. They don't understand that noise pollution is a thing. Talking about the women—almost every day, they do "Shiv Charcha" in the temple or at someone's house. They sing (though that thing is nowhere close to singing) and tell stories that they themselves make up. They also use the dholak and jhaal, but... 4 0 replies
Lion Capital of Sarnath. Buddha was called Shakya Simha(Shakya lion), the 4 lions represent roar of his Dhamma in all directions, as Ashoka envisaged. Standing 7 ft tall, it used to have a chakra on top and was mounted on a 40ft pillar. Lion Capital of Sarnath. What jobs pay well in Bihar? I'm looking to settle in Bihar and was wondering what skills are in demand. I am a Bihari, born and raised in Karnataka. I have noticed that people in Bihar struggle a lot with communicating in English in real life. Can I monetize this to my advantage? Maybe soft skills classes? 1 0 replies

Isnt it interesting that White societies embrace Black culture, music etc but discriminate against Blacks. Indian nationalists used Ashoka’s rule, Vaishali’s republic etc against British narrative of Indian racial inferiority, but today same is prevalent against Bihar in politics and society. 5 4 replies
