Can anyone explain Trump tariffs and its impact on Indian Economy here?

Everyone on internet seems to either claim that "Modi ki bezzati hogayi" or "Trump-Modi bhai-bhai ". Can we talk in numbers and actuality?! And please don't try to oversimplify it or even simplify it for that matter. I am interested to know how impacts on Indian Economy as of our budget, export-import, small businesses and large corporations and Indian consumer class or any topic you feel important to be addressed.

Anyone that lives abroad feel lost in their life ?

I had moved aboard many years ago as a child but now that I'm an adult in 20s I still feel lost than ever before. Everyday I miss my country and my childhood friends and family. Whenever I see their posts on Whatsapp and Instagram it just makes me feel like wow they are living a way better life than I am. They have earned so much respect in society and became financial and socially wealthy. Which I feel like many people take that important for some reason because...

Why do you want to leave India?

When I was younger I was always of the opinion why would anyone leave their country. Now I completely get it after growing up. Of course no country is perfect and have some issue but India is seriously becoming unbearable now. Pollution in cities, too many selfish people with no regards to laws(reckless driving with no care for the pedestrian), openly sexist and bigot behavior, education system(having gone through it if I can avoid making my kids in future go through this I would surely want to) and many...

Do you think your future unborn kids will regret being born as Indians?

I saw a foreigner comment, saying, 'Thank God for not being born as an Indian in India. I mean, he’s right though. A lot of us regret being born here. Who knows? Maybe your future unborn kids will complain about our country just like we do. Or maybe you won’t have kids in this wicked country?

    Why are relatives so toxic

I’m 28, living abroad with my brother, and we both have good jobs. Our parents are back in India. Growing up, I believed my mom’s side of the family was better than my dad’s side, but over time, I realized that my Masi and her two daughters are incredibly toxic. Despite not working or studying (even though money was never an issue), they constantly make me feel insecure about my looks, career, and life choices. They rely on financial support from my Maama and now my elder sister’s husband....

Which city should one settle down in?

Which is the best city to move to and settle down in India for the forseeable future ? Asking in terms of health facilities(multispeciality hospitals; good treatment options for serious ailments), pollution, availability of good quality fresh veggies and fruits, cleanliness, parks, business opportunities etc. Edit: I understand that no city is free from pollution or garbage. Meant to ask about cities with relatively better infrastructure in place than tier 3 cities. If one has old parents, good healthcare facilities are a must. Basically a place with overall good...

Does society accept couples who don't want children?

I read many posts here where young couples don't like the idea of wanting a children and some don't even plan to marry but I have seen some older couples in their 50s or 60s who didn't have children but society I don't know judges them and says look at them. All stress free and enjoying life. And some say that lady cannot get pregnant. Making all sorts personal judgement of one and another. It's crazy

Ordering and shipping books to Thailand

Hello friends, I am looking into ordering yogic books from reliable Indian online shops to Thailand. Any recommendations? When I lived in Sri Lanka I used "a middle man/company" to receive books from India. But to Thailand it's a bit more challenging. Thank you in advance!\~

What do you guys feel about this?

Second gen Indian migrants really lucked out. Their parents worked really hard to migrate and settle into another country and now their kids have a better quality of life. There is more value of life in western countries, more student-life and work-life balance, better opportunities and better infrastructure. They also won't have to face the same level of racism as first generation migrants. Meanwhile, most of us feel trapped here maybe kinda wishing are parents migrated too
