Birth Certificate question?? My dad was born in Sion, Mumbai, India, way back in 1953, Sion hospital, but they didn’t issue him or register him a birth certificate?? This was before that birth certificate law of 63 or something. He called the hospital for one some years ago and they said they can’t find it or trace it. He got a notarized slip saying it’s untraceable (which is wtf?) Apart from that he does has a valid passport// marriage certificate // baptism (Christian) certificate and lot of information to tie him to... 1 0 replies
Looking for flat and flatmates(male) Hi, a friend of mine and i are looking to shift into a 2bhk. An already existing one with flatmates would be preferred but finding a new apartment with two or three more people works too. We are third year mithibai students so something close to andheri west and juhu would be ideal. Smokers and drinkers preferred (lmao) and a 3bhk works too, we would just prefer to share a room with each other. We need to shift in before the 20th of Feb. Lmk if there any leads!... 5 0 replies

The Reality of Getting a License at MH47 RTO" My experience with the MH47 RTO was absolutely horrible. The building is in a terrible state, with no safety measures in place not even a first aid kit. I went there to get a learning license, and the staff were completely unprofessional. One of them openly took a bribe from me while smiling and called it a "contribution." I had to pay ₹100 just to get my Aadhaar card verified. When the verification failed, they told me the image wasn’t visible. I asked why, since the website itself has... 3 0 replies

Did I get scammed? I am lying in my bed in a hotel in Porbandar, Gujrat while typing this. I had lunch at a restaurant and then went to a park which falls in the way back to the hotel. Two guys enter in the park after a while and one of them asks me to send some money urgently to some phone number as his limit has reached because he changed his phone. I got convinced and sent him 11000 as he asked to a number. He then made a NEFT payment... 1 0 replies

Serious question: Is ANYONE in favour of BMC’s 74,000 crore “Mumbai Eye” ferris wheel project? Everyone I have spoken to is against this project. I am just wondering, is anyone except the BMC in favour of this project? No doubt they will make a lot of money off this project, while we will be under more years of construction and dust. The air quality is so bad in our city, what will people even be able to see from this ferris wheel?! And if we, the residents of Mumbai, do not want this, can we not stop it from happening? I think everyone agrees... 2 3 replies
CollegePond Review (Very Disappointing) It is a Mumbai based counselling agency that provides overseas application assistance for undergrad/graduate programs. Most of their clients are from Mumbai Universities. Very unbiased and real opinion. Save yourself the money waste and mental anxiety that comes from going with these guys. Counselors: Each and every counselor is sub par. None of them were helpful and were EXTREMELY rude and would not listen to anything I had to say. 2 counselors literally shouted on the phone and this has been experienced by 4 more friends who took their... 5 0 replies

The BUS is so crowded that my soul cries everyday in the morning. I do not even have soft corner for my workplace...they are brutally frauds. We’ll be in Mumbai for 5 nights before flying to Kerala, and just wanted some advice from locals. At the airport, can I just get a cab to my hotel (about 30 mins from airport) or do I need to pre book. Thinking of food, when we are out and about during the day, what do people do for food and specifically, what can we do for food so that we avoid getting ill! Thank you 🙏... 5 0 replies
