Hiring UX/UI designers - I will not promote

Where do you find good UX/UI designers and 3D designers/modelers? In the past, I've used the on-demand work sites with very so so results even after reviewing resumes and portfolios. I've also listed ads on CraigsList in tech hub cities in the US and that actually proved fairly effective but again, it required a LOT of sorting through resumes to find people that can deliver. Just curious where people now are finding designers.... Not sure if it violates the I will not promote but my needs are web app...

My American family, my Hindu family

As the post says, I will talk about my family. My American family. Everyone in America is my family, the ugly the beautiful, the wicked the righteous. Who cares, if you’re an American you’re part of my family. Since I’m an American, my ancestors shared this country with your ancestors, your Gods were once my Gods, your friends were once my friends. Slavery, we went through that. The civil war, that too. The Declaration of Independence. Woman’s rights. Etc. My neighbor is my friend, the person who works at...

    Invest right now or not?

Hi all I'm looking of investing in an etf covering the Indian market and wonder if I should buy the dip right now? I'm OK with risks as I'm a long term investor and I'm mostly looking towards Indian economy in 2040/2050 but buying a stock the cheapest possible is off course very pleasant. I'm not very informed about what's happening with the Indian economy and would like some advice/info.

I'm starting to believe that high functioning autistim/ADHD is not a thing.

Most people who claim to be high functioning autism or ADHD don't seem to have any problems whatsoever holding a job or functioning in life and just want the label for social media points, i really don't get how they are autistic or have ADHD at all. They also love to tell actual people with autism or adhd to "man up" and stop using our disability as an excuse for not begin able to function correctly, what a bunch of clowns. Those "high functioning" idiots think Autism and ADHD...

    Pune feels very lonely sometimes

It's been 6 months since I came here and only one of my friend back home called me to check on me. Everyone else, I call every week to talk to. Never have they enquired about my life although I know all about their issues and good stuffs. It's very hard. Nowadays I'm not giving any thought to it. When I came here, I met some amazing people and I talk with a lot of them yet I don't feel the closeness with them. I like to spend time...
