How do you live so calmly with less then ₹500 in your bank account? In the past month I met so many people who don't even have ₹500 saved in their account or in hand and line so happily with so worry or tension, they were all laughing, talking, going on about their lives, like everything was fine. A group of 10-15 people put music and danced in the train coach and in stations, yet nobody even the TTE took action So I was traveling in JAM TEM Express (19578) from Thrissur to Trivandrum (Kerala) today. A group (around 10-15 people )of wannabe cool guys converted the reserved sleeper coach into a partyhouse. They put music from a huge speaker and danced till I left the train (6ish hours) Fun fact is when the train stopped in major stations such as Ernakulam, Alleppey and Quilon, they stepped down to the platform and did flash mobs, even overriding the station announcement to the passengers. Will the rent ever decrease? I used to pay 8k for a 1BHK in 2021, and today I’m paying 20k for the exact same flat. Every year, the rent increases by 2/3k without fail, as if inflation is their family tradition. Rent here isn't just expensive, it's a career decision. I’ve fixed everything myself. Replaced the fans, repaired the geyser, changed all the tube lights to LEDs, fixed the electric socket board, and even painted the house with my own money. I’ve noticed a shift in the past 15-20 years where it seems like more people poop at least twice a day, whereas years ago, going once a day was more typical.
