Trading as a hobby, possible?

So I was wondering if it is possible to trade as a hobby. I have been reading up on trading, and listening to podcast and it sounds like something I could be into. I have no knowledge about it, so don’t really know what all comes to it. What I want is a hobby I can focus on, and really get into. Have a MBP M3 Pro that I’ve got hooked into an ultrawide monitor. The speakers I have use a 3.5mm audio jack, which I currently have hooked into the monitor. The monitor is attached via DisplayPort to USB-C. MacOS doesn’t allow CEC. Have tried EqMac as a software solution, but it was unreliable and undesired.
