Endless System data calculation

Why does it not calculate system data. Just updated my M1 MacBook Pro to 15.3.1 and this started the Mac Studio shows as it should, also the "used" storage is wrong. If I look in System Report it shows the correct disk usage. Any help on this would be appreciated. Why do people come to class when they’re sick?

I get it—sometimes it's unavoidable. If there’s a mandatory session, an exam, or something that absolutely requires your presence, it makes sense.
