Malayalam cinema got a boost in viewership during pandemic when people explored more OTT content. Bouncers are not a problem as such its the length from which bounce come that is the problem. If a short height bowler throw bouncer its predictable because ball pitched behind short length. Tall bowlers can get bounce way ahead of short length. That gives less timw to batsman and they cant predict the bounce. So it feels like ball came way up then expected. Short bowler often end up delivery as short pitch instead of bounce which batsman can easily pull away.
