We need to preserve our native language which means talking in native language Konkani for me and we need one more language to communicate with rest of the world considering the reach and global nature English is the best second language to learn, I do not understand why non hindi speaking states need ro learn third language to communicate with ppl who speak one language hindi

All schools have local language as options and English and hindi as compulsory languages this leads to lot of kids opting out local language, during my school days it was a trend among certain rich kids to opt out konkani for French coz they could not speak or read konkani and we konkani speaking ppl were looked down coz our English was broken, I would feel inferior them but now I pity those friemds who call them self goykar and can't speak konkani
