The best people bust their azz. They expect you to do the same, and no being available at any hour isn’t what they are looking for. They want to get paid. The best people want cash and they want a significant chance at the upside via equity. It’s not 1% either. what people want is the opportunity for the big win. What have you don’t to derisk the startup? How many user commitments via signed letters of intent do you have? Or did you just pull out some report from McKenzie and see a growth area? What work have you done before going and talking to a developer? How many users did you interview face to face?
