Yes, I don't understand the interference either by these Indian parents who think they have the right to know all your internal matters with your friends or partners etc. And I agree with you on this; we didn't choose to be born, it was their plan to have us so it is their responsibility to raise us for their obvious retirement plan. So why should we always feel grateful to them? Not like I begged them to bring me into this world.

Even I don't understand why Indian men are so weak and submissive when the topic is of their parents. But when I see such men, I sense that these people are going to turn out just like their parents because they don't see the bad parenting or accept their parents mistakes ever.
