Survived a brutal high-speed crash, thanks to seatbelts and airbags....

Yesterday night, I was in my friend’s Hyundai Verna (1.6 diesel) when we met with a severe crash. My friend was driving his Verna on a wide 2 lane road , when a biker suddenly cut in front of us without an indicator or warning. In an attempt to avoid hitting him, my friend braked and swerved, lost control, and the car spun out, crashing into an oncoming Honda City.

Both cars were obliterated, the Verna took the impact, spinning out and hitting the City on its side, sending it off to the kerb. The Honda City's passengers suffered multiple fractures. My friend sustained muscle injuries and internal pain due to the seatbelt tightening on impact, while I got off relatively lightly with a bloody nose and minor scars.

What kept us alive? Seatbelts and airbags. Thanks to buckling up, I had minor injuries and could jump off from the window in no time. No matter how good a driver you think you are, unpredictable situations can arise, and split-second decisions can change everything.

So folks , lesson to be learnt ... Always buckle up in any seat of the car and always be insouciant on road , as idiots such as the dumb biker exists who fled away from the spot after creating such a massacre.

Im using a royal Enfield myself, hasn't given me a single issue so far. I can't speak about the other brands, since I've not owned them.
