Message apple support. I had to do this recently to get my old MacBook Pro off my account. Since you just set up a Mac mini they should help for no charge. It was fairly simple, but I’d want to make sure nothing was going to get “lost” when you did it since, as you said, the phone isn’t the same Apple ID , but was used to verify setup anyway.

Would you be rather stuck in a bad job with good money or a good job with a deserving offer?

Also, look at additional benefits? What's the insurance coverage? If you are married with kids - then do they have any educational reimbursement benefits like creche, day care, school fees, etc.

Instead of focussing on what the CTC is, these things also matter.

Resolved pragmatically here but could easily become a tool for harassment soon with many such claims over places of worship of various faiths with demands going beyond what is currently being set. The thing with these "activist" types is that over a a period of time, when you start giving them an inch they'll take a mile, only further encouraging more behaviour intending to stir the pot. And if they feel sufficiently emboldened I don't think they'll be above using more forceful means.

Again it's good that it's being resolved peacefully here but looking at the overall power dynamics involved in this over a period of time, this is unlikely to end well. I used to be like you but in the long run, My parents' experience has proven to be right, and a lot of my decisions have been wrong. But i agree that I do have the right to make choices for myself, right or wrong. But in the hindsight, i feel if i had listened to my parents, and considered their advice i would have been in a much better condition in life.
