I've tried selling stuff on (the local) eBay but it was 'only' € 10 to € 50 in profit for an item, and it takes quite a lot of time before you have a good buyer. Certainly no way to make a living, unless of course you have your house filled with stuff people want.

I tried to write blogs, but it isn't for me, and nowadays everyone and their mother are glued to TikTok and YouTube anyway.

Tried writing a book, but my AD(H)D brain thought: 'alright, let's stop here, because I'm getting bored of this.'

I've been working as a freelancer but have a difficult time promoting myself. This is due to the religious trauma of 'you are not worth anything' that I was raised with.

I once was a 'normie', had a fulltime job and loved it. But then I went burnout. For some reason companies think one graphic designer vs ten developers is a healthy team.

My list certainly isn't that impressive, but I know that I at least tried some things.

People should really have some shame.

You know, I feel like judging people based on looks is something we all do, even if we don’t admit it. It’s kind of built into us for survival. Some stereotypes, whether we like it or not, have played a role in shaping how societies function. And this whole preference for fairness personally, I think it’s more about hygiene and cleanliness rather than just colonial influence. But in the end, what really affects people isn’t the judgment itself, it’s how we treat them because of it. And while judgment helps us stay aware of our surroundings, we also need to know when it turns into unfair bias.
