True, NEP is something that's purely made with the agenda to spread Hindi so that whosoever is at the centre can influence the voters in the south, because language barrier is a big reason as to why BJP or Congress couldn't come to power in southern states. Both BJP and Congress are in cahoots when it comes to such policies. It is not needed for this country at all.

But I don't understand how it relates to Hindutva in any way, it's ignorant of the OP to mix religion with language.

Let alone BJP, every single political party has a way to divide and conquer the people of this country and everyone falls for it. Whether it's congress or Bjp or dmk, it's their policy to divide people using Religion, community ,Caste, Language, etc.., as long as the population of this country falls for these obvious tricks it can truly never grow the way it should.

I am a working woman & it's only sometimes when I feel burnt out by corporate stress I wished I could retire (but not be a trophy wife) but no way I can sit at home forever. My self respect wouldnt allow that. My brain is too hyperactive to be idle. It's nobody business to lecture on whether women should be trophy wife or career women, to each her own.

And men are mainly beauty diggers since forever , it;s only recently that since women have started earning , we are being considered for their education & jobs as well. Even then beautiful woman with career is far more in demand. If your BIL gets a proposal of "equally pretty" girl with a job & wealthy background, he's gonna prefer her who knows.
AM is basically all about choosing a person based on looks, money, status , wealth etc . What's new?
