You could park outside many big societies/apartment complexes while occupying their visitors parking spots. If someone asks, just tell you are a driver waiting for someone. You'll have security closeby, so it'll be a safe spot for nights.
Or outside sports complexes which are open late into the nights. Outside hotels is a possibility too but they might ask you to move sooner than the other spots. Could use showers at some sports complexes as well. Better to not make a habit out of it though, as some might be vigilant of what's going on.

Maybe ask you friend to go get some Trade school education / Industrial training - like AC or TV Mechanic, or automobile mechanic or join as apprentice under an electrician etc. My mom recently found the AC mechanic who comes to our home whenever AC gives trouble, earns in Lakhs per month & he is not even the owner. He gets payment as basic salary & extra per house he visits (he works in a company which provide AMC for home appliances).

Being good with such handy thing, and being a good people person will enable amazing income. It's not easy & the pay is going to be peanuts at start, but not leaving will help to grow. But, these jobs are not comfortable.
