These are the people who influence the people for racism. Police should take strict action against them. People from NE should file a case against them to teach them a lesson.

Do you realise the breakeven point will be 8L post this change? With 2L home loan interest, HRA(if you are living on rent) and all other investment gymnastics are you crossing that? I barely know anyone legally breaching that and for all of them the new slab becomes very simple no-brainer

Earlier this break even was 3.75L IIRC and hence having HL or HRA meant old regime still being more beneficial. But now with new slab being much more lucrative, why would anyone(with just salary income) want to get into all those complications is beyond me.

Northeast people should stop this victim mentality mindset. Instead they should try to dissociate themselves from the pan India identity as much as they can. With the increasing rise of racism against mainland Indians all over the world, it will be a good move for the NE people. Everybody who is well aware of the recent online environment know the sudden rise of slurs like poopj**ts, paj**ts, curry ni**er etc on mainstream internet. What is the target community for these slurs? It's the mainland Indians. So northeast people should not feel disheartened when mainlanders don't recognise u as an Indian or instead demean u. U should own it instead. As a matter of fact u should be happy that u are not being clubbed into the hate grind which pretty much the whole world is doing against mainland indians.

I genuinely think participants of big boss, splitsvilla, etc shows are all chappris with upper middle class money. I really think I’m better than them. They dress also so trashy, money can’t buy taste.
