The problem, as with most forms of American "resistance," is that there's no guiding force to direct the emotions everyone is feeling into something actually productive. BLM had a lot of weight behind it, but it accomplished very little in retrospect. On the other hand, civil rights protestors got a lot done since there was actual planning behind the force and they had leaders like MLK - and the Black Panthers were impactful since they adhered to that same sort of necessary vanguardism. Same goes for early union organizers (who after 1917 had the benefit of the ultra-rich being scared to death of communist revolution) who secured workers' rights, for suffragettes, etc etc.

So, none of this is gonna do anything, at all, in the same way the protests against Trump during his first term didn't, because there's no group to help focus attacks. The Dems certainly aren't doing a good job of it, considering they still like to wheel Chuck Schumer out.
