I am no expert but it really looks like no one knows anything and just tend to lead masses in someway for their own profits.

Wht is the fun of SIPs if you cant do it for 5-7 yrs atleast?

Even if returns are not that promisimg and say, eat up an entire year's profits, by end of 5 yrs you will still have more money than you begun with.
