Podi chaya is just lazy. And there's less tea for the same volume. As a tea enthusiast that's unacceptable. Also the podi gets in your mouth and sticks to the throat and all which is an uncomfortable experience.

You can't expect the convenience of doorstep delivery in rural, hard to reach places. Those delivery agents are not paid enough to go out of their way to reach such places.

Your best option would be to have your orders delivered to some store/restaurant/hotel that you know of and that is more easily accessible for the delivery guys. Just collect your parcels from there later when you have time.

Or you can continue to log complaints with Amazon customer care and see how that works out. It'll probably take a lot more effort, not to mention considerable delays with your orders, to get anything to change.

Always better to wait until the investigation is done completely. If she's lying it's going to be exposed soon enough. If she isn't, then I'm going to be on a guilt trip for jumping to conclusions.

I love costume parties and here are some of the ones I have actually tried myself, plus a few others:

- You could be any professional that wears a uniform and optimally make it naughty, if you want - horny cop (best if you have a pornstache like I had one or a stick-on), sexy fireman, naughty doctor, pilot, cricketer (but many might show up in a jersey), etc.

- Mario/Luigi (easy outfit - red or green tshirt, denim overalls, cap in matching color and stick M or L on it. Of course, mustache stick on, unless you have an original one. Gloves are a bonus and carry some tools like a spanner). Or any other superhero or cartoon character.

- you could go the Bollywood route and be Thakur from Sholay (easy outfit - white kurta-pajama and a brown shawl; optional: wig), Gabbar, one of Amitabh Bachchan’s outfits (Coolie, Sara Zamana lights jacket - a bit involved, etc.), Shakaal from Shaan movie (I shaved my head and face for this; requires some dedication), or other iconic Bollywood actors. Think slightly older movies because those had more iconic outfits. Think other film industries and TV show characters too.

- you could be just a marathon runner, old school aerobics instructor, etc.

- old school circus strongman (I shaved my head, but you don’t need to; mustache - real or fake, fake huge dumbbells, bodybuilder outfit - you can DIY). It’s funnier if you are not fit.

- hipster lumberjack (a bit old now, was better in 2010s) also, not very Indian.

- you could keep it Indian and try Baba Ramdev, Arvind Kejriwal (with the scarf and carry a broom; optional handcuffs), Akhilesh Yadav (red cap is a must; the rest of the outfit is just Kurta pajama and jacket). If you are not thin like Baba Ramdev, you can claim that you are his fat twin and have food in your hand. I haven’t tried either of these.

- you can just be a Bhangra dancer or Garba dancer or Koli (fisherman) or something simple like that.

If you have a female partner at the party, you could even dress up in a couple’s costume - Salim-Anarkali, Romeo-Juliet, plug and socket (you need to buy an outfit for this; don’t recommend it much because I got a few lewd comments from women and she got from men). Or both of you can dress as fisherman-fisherwoman or garba couple. If it is an adults-only party, you can try Playboy bunny (for her) and Chippendales (for you), but it is a very risqué outfit; I was basically shirtless and in short shorts; most public venues may not allow this; that said, get ready to be hit on a lot and works as a singles outfit too.

If you have a male partner, Mario and Luigi brothers is iconic.

For all these costumes, keep the weather and temperature at the venue in mind. Also, some public places might not allow certain costumes (nudity or political reasons). If you will be eating/drinking and dancing, keep that in mind. With certain outfits, it’s not easy to maneuver or eat easily.
