This friend of mine was having an issue with the acceleration of his tata safari. He had purchased a cheap obd2 scanner from Amazon, so to check, he connected it, and saw that it was showing MAF error (mass air flow sensor related). Still took it to the asc. Those guys told him to wait, and after a few minutes came back and told my friend that there seems to be an issue with the engine and it needs to be opened, will cost 45k. Friend showed them the device, the error reading and that's it. Whatever nuts or screws they tightened, they did it for free. It was perhaps the maf housing that was loose, and my friend left the asc with a grin on his face.
