They will never pay bro 🥲 that’s the hard reality. Legal route takes ages, and this makes them confident that we do not go legal. The system is pretty much f’ed up. I have had multiple incidents in the past where I was never compensated.
1. Car scratched by a private bus (2 doors and fender had to be repainted), they asked to move legally, cops were of no help.
2. Car got hit by an electric scooter (the kind that does not require insurance or registration), got half the amount from the person who hit. 5k went out of pocket.
3. Brand new car got hit by a bus carrying pilgrims from AP, police claimed that they could do nothing as the vehicle was a govt vehicle from another state and the drivers just pretends not to understand English or Hindi. They paid 1500 after we created a ruckus for hours 🥲, got it fixed with insurance and there went the NCB.

I might not be right, but I have personally made a decision to not pay anyone if I ever get into an accident. Either my insurance company pays or they claim their own.
