As a longtime medical device developer, I would say that the biggest problem is not so much that people are idiots, it’s more that they want to get their work done and if the equipment gets in the way of getting work done, they will figure out clever and unanticipated workarounds to speed things up. And those unanticipated workaround cause unanticipated problems.

I think the most important thing is to work with users during the development process to make sure it’s really easy and obvious for them to get their work done so they don’t go looking for workarounds.

Mysore's steady rise in population should be a good thing but the problem is infrastructure is really old, even the smallest new piece of project is hyped as the next best thing, rents and property costs are skyrocketing, but here's the thing no new companies are being opened, no major companies are hiring, software industry saw massive layoffs, auto industries are not performing as it should overall there's economic slowdown which I consider is major irk to many of us.

As a business person it comes as a conceited statement, but way too many businesses for the existing market, there should be a course correction in that front too.

What we can do, Is not to create false hype, I remember a post from a few days ago, where our gdp is less than/almost half of mandya & hassan. Things are costlier in Mysore when compared to hubli Dharwad and belgaum and facilities are fewer than mangalore, I'm not saying the city isn't good, I like Mysore as is, but that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement.

Invest in industries and technology that is needed rather than overcrowding already existing infrastructure, we seldom keep our elected officials responsible, every major and minor elected personality has some or the other case against them.

Mysore was famous for being the cleanest city, now we're not even in the top charts, post lockdown every year SOM says dasara has lost its lackluster footfalls are more than ever before but everyone is saying collection and margin is less, as in it isn't what it used to be

Sericulture these days is majorly with govt entities and sometimes it does more harm than good, exports from the district have depleted so much in the recent years.

People have to think about sustainable growth, it's not like we don't know how to have a dialogue, we are one of the most literate district and city yet we fail to make use of that, there are areas which over overhyped and there are areas which are underdeveloped. But I believe that a right set of people at the right place can even the odds out

I know It's more business centric and I hope I spoke about relevant topics although much of it is a rant from my end.

PS I am also an outsider who have come to embrace this city, I get the fact, where people say outsiders are ruining everything but we're just trying to make a living just as everyone else.

I got a hot take for you dude and the rest of you aren't going to believe it but it's true.

So I work with a large financial publishing company (it's publicly traded and worth over $700 million a year).

Our company briefly did a collaboration with a guy who is a certified billionaire. This is a Manhattan Finance guy, been in the game 40+ years, manages money...etc.

He's deeply politically connected as well.

Obviously you can tell I can't name names.

In any case, this guy was just a monster trader. He was GREAT -- picking nearly perfect shorts in long bias bull markets (so a nice mix of longs and shorts about 20 day holds usually, just killing it -- playing the market like a fiddle).

**What did he do? FUCKING ASTROLOGY.**

Yes I'm completely 100% serious. In fact, I was so fucking dumbfounded by this guy's career, his trading style, and his "harmonic frequency" yadda yadda shit I didn't understand, I started just consuming everything I could about him (which largely isn't public knowledge, but i had access to it for awhile).

There IS a website you can go to that I think pretty much sums up the way this guy studied / thought which is **CosmoEconomics (dotcom)** and a sister site with is **SacredScienceInstitute (dotcom).**

The website are free but they are hell to navigate through. There's a ton of information and one of these days I'm going to sit down and really devote some time to it (or that's what I've been telling myself).

But no shit -- this guy was an astrologist and that's how he traded. And he wasn't the only one -- a lot of his Wall Street friends did the same (in fact saying that it helped firm up their religious / spiritual beliefs).

They see the movements of "time and price" as a sort of dance of life and nature that reveals spiritual truths.

Another guy I came across on YouTube that KIND of seems to be in the same camp was **Michael Jenkins** the way he talks about Gann seems to mirror this guy.

But yeah...I'm blown away by it and it's been 3 years since meeting him.

We now have jiomart, bigbasket,instamart, blinkit, and chitki serving 10- 2 hr delivery space.
