… it sounds like you’re using Time Machine to store old files? That’s really not how it’s meant to be used. Time Machine is for backups, not archives.

IMO, you’d probably be better off restoring the old files you want to keep (possibly to another external drive) and then have them backed up separately.

Whatever you begin, continue working your full time job at least till you break even in your business. Your salary will be useful for business and personal expenses until your business starts growing. The health cover and other insurance benefits will continue being useful too.
