I can understand your frustration, I don't believe the core principle of equality should ever be a question. Both have a fundamental part to play for ecological survival for our species. So it only makes sense if we all lived in harmony.
However, the current criticism for feminism stems from the men-hating culture that emerged under the flag of feminism activists. Some may find the aggression justified for the systematic oppression, some don't care for the history and focus on the current perception of feminism.
