Every college would be a scam if you do not study at all or the teaching is absolutely shit or they do not teach at all. MIT is well reputed tbh. Another factor is placement and *high fees*.

The college i study at has both board and integrated curriculum. If you choose to join just board, you go home at 3:10 pm, which imo gives you sufficient time to self study. If you're a part of the integrated program like I am, you've got to stay till 5:00 pm. College starts at 8:30 tho. DM me if you'd like more information (name, address, etc)
