Who was drinking in the first place for the taste of those alcoholic drinks? I was! And so were/are so many people. I love a good hoppy IPA, especially with mosaic hops. If I have health issues and can’t drink alcohol (medication restrictions on drinking), I would totally go for a non-alcoholic IPA. I have a friend who has a blood pressure condition and the medication forces him to limit his alcohol consumption; he drinks nonalcoholic beers.

People love the taste of sparkling wine and cocktails such as, Moscow mule, mojitos, margaritas, etc. If a woman is pregnant, she might miss the taste of the cocktail and might opt for the nonalcoholic version (mocktail) instead.

Many people also love having a fancy drink instead of just something plain-looking. A Virgin Mary drink with pickled olives, celery stick, floating black pepper, etc., looks better than Coke with ice and lemon. So if your friends/family are drinking cocktails and you want to “fit in”, you can opt for a nonalcoholic cocktail/mocktail.

Also, you suggested smoothies and juices as an alternative. I don’t know which bars you visit, but most of the bars I go to do not have smoothies on their menus and their juices are oftentimes just boxed juices/not freshly squeezed. No one is making fresh cranberry juice for me - it’s most definitely just a bottled juice, so there’s nothing special about it either.

I do. I was attending to university, did 2 years but was too much for me. Thats when my big depression started.


I was super weird at the time. Ended up without friends or activities, developed a super hard insomnia for 7 years straight.


Went to a psychiatrist and got better, I was doing great, I was all days thinking how to get a job.


Then my father made my life unberable. I lost my mind.



Walked so much looking for a police station, destroyed my boths legs and Ive been recovering since the last 3 years, barely going outside the house.

He has no manners to talk, he is asking other to obey traffic rules without wearing HELMET. Plus there are 20 other cars parked behind in that row, what about those? It seems he is not parking in middle of road for sure. Very disappointing.

I heard that if tourists are found without helmet the cops catch them?

If this is how Goans are as humans -- they dont deserve our hard earned money to be spent on Goa Tourism
