We massively underestimate how heartbreaking it would’ve been for the players to lose the CWC23 final at home. If you put in that much hunger into that tournament and lose after getting so close, it sure will dampen your spirits and make you doubt yourself. We did win the T20WC but let’s not kid ourselves, it’s not the same thing. We need to be supportive while the team finds their way back. The hunger will come back stronger then.
