Agree with you but this situation is for almost all Tier 1 - 3 cities, barring few points here and there. I remember we didn't even put fan at full speed, even during peak summer in Pune before 2013, but since 2016 it is getting warmer every year and we had to put AC eventually.

And when all companies would start calling people to office daily, imagine the situation with traffic and pollution.

BRT was also a good concept which was badly implemented with no monitoring for violators and eventually they are breaking it at many places.

Metro is a good addition and with new and better routes, it would help the increasing population to some extent. But the connectivity and network should become better.

Hope to see Pune back to it's glory days.
