yeah, i'd agree that kind of quote is utter bull. today's social competition among other types in life is pretty hard to survive to get somewhere in life these days. there seems to be more judgement and ostracism of being seen as too introverted, awkward or non-neurotypical in general. a number of factors and issues including cultural and political-economic probably play into this.
