My personal opinion, this metro phase 2 planning is beyond reckless. First they started off OMR, and then parallely they started ECR. When OMR metro started, IT employees used to take the ECR road and take a right in Akkarai. After ECR started, it's now a big mess. To top it all off, they have also parallely started the flyover in Adyar rerouting traffic to OMR from Madhya Kailash to take a U-turn. Want to hear the most ridiculous part? They've constructed 2 flyovers in OMR just for U-turn purposes for God knows what reason? Now if you miss the Uturn there, the next u-turn can only be done near Gandhi Mandapam fyi.


Worst traffic rerouting plans and redundant one-way diversions. One-way should've been made dynamic in such a way that during peak hours, morning and evening, that road is to be used to and fro. It's not like pova matum we take the main road and while returning we need to navigate narrow roads in residential areas.


Phase 1 metro was seamlessly done compared to this. Yes we had some inconveniences, but not of this magnitude. One might argue that it's because phase 2 has a longer line. Then they should've invested more time in proper planning.


Don't even get me started on the roads. I personally think this is deliberately done so that our vehicles will undergo more wear and tear, so we need replacements more often and more taxes for the politicians to loot.


The number of petrol pumps are starting to come down for whatever reason, if you guys have noticed. From Porur to Nungambakkam, in Arcot road, we hardly see 4 petrol pumps if I'm not wrong all majority cramped to one side. The whole strech would be 13km and the traffic is massive, resulting in overcrowding of the pumps on one side of the road.


The downfall of TN started after JJ's demise. No one brave enough or knowledgeable enough to question, hopefully Annamalai or Vijay could bring in the youth power into politics. We don't need to change parties, we just need someone to criticize all these things publicly in a stern manner.

Tellapur isn’t really outskirts anymore. With my home communities coming around you will see lot of retail activity soon. Just a matter 1 or 2 years. It will be better investment than flat. But again flat is easier to maintain if you have busy schedules.
