100 is the target number. This is a speed you can reasonably ride at if:
1. Visibility is good for long stretches, like 2-3 km.
2. Traffic around you is sparse.
3. You are on a 4/6 lane highway with a well built divider that separates both directions of traffic.
4. You are actively scanning and identifying threats before they escalate into a situation.
5. You know how to brake well in emergency, if not practice panic braking.


Anything above this speed belongs on a track or you are risking things. When you slow down from say 130 to 70 kmph, that is a good deceleration but still has substantial momentum to get hurt.

Regarding roads out of Bangalore - my favourite is the Hassan highway. I love the stretch beyond Hassan though. You have forests, coffee plantations and nice villages that you can just get lost in and be completely disconnected from everything that's bothering you.

NICE road in Bangalore is pretty good to ride on. Most of my shorter rides where I'm expecting to be back home by the evening involve Tumkur road but even there you need to ride a little defensively and keep your speed in check
