The way to look at things is - if you think you have X amount of rupees and you want to invest in the market and want a perfect entry then you make a plan and divide X/12 or 24 or what ever seems fit and start investing in the market monthly this will help you spread your losses or profits.
Now if you are thinking about buying an apt or home let’s assume your budget is 1Cr and you want a 3 bed but after looking for a year you basically say I am only get a 2 bed apt then accept it, buy a 2 bedroom apt and when you have enough saved for 3 bed, sell the 2 bed for upgrading yourself.
